Updated Draft of Our Membership Process

Since you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ, been baptized by immersion as a sign of your faith, and are willing to annually commit to our member covenant, you are invited to join our community as a member of Calvary Church. The membership process shall be overseen by the Elders of Calvary Church. The following process must be completed:

• Attendance at a membership class overseen by the Elders
• Submission of a membership application
• Completion of a consultation with the Elders or their appointees
• Annual re-commitment to the membership covenant

Matters of church discipline will be addressed according to Biblical principles and will be overseen by the Elders of Calvary Church. The end goal of discipline is always spiritual growth and restoration. However, in cases of continued sin and lack of repentance, a member may be excluded from church membership and fellowship by recommendation of the Elders and a majority vote of the congregation at a duly called business meeting.
